Open House & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

With brain injuries creating a growing public health concern, I’m reaching out to invite you and other leaders in the region’s healthcare, business, and nonprofit sectors to join the Brain Injury Services team for a special event celebrating the opening of our new ADAPT Clubhouse and Fairfax Service Hub.

On Wednesday, March 20th at 10 AM, we will be joined by the Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, the Virginia Department of Aging and Rehabilitative Services, BIS’ healthcare, education, and social service referral partners, area employers, athletic coaches, and others focused on NoVA residents’ health and well-being.

As we move into this new location, we will continue to provide our adult and pediatric case management and our other free programs and services to anyone in Northern Virginia who is coping with brain injury. Our ADAPT Clubhouse is the star of the show as it will allow us to continue to build community and key skills among people on their recovery journeys and help us make a difference in the lives of individuals affected by brain injuries and their families.

As the new CEO of Brain Injury Services, I’d love to introduce myself and our team to community leaders like you – so you can be aware of what we offer. We’d like to explore ways to work together to elevate our free services to Northern Virginians living with brain injury – whether through referrals, information sharing, financial or volunteer support, or other collaborations.

For event details and to register, click this link. I hope you and/or your colleagues can join us and learn about our services. If March 20 does not work for you, I’d be happy to arrange a tour at another time or fill you in by phone, Zoom, or over coffee.

We hope to see you there!

With gratitude,

Donna A. Meltzer
Chief Executive Officer
