The array of assistive technology options can be overwhelming—from post-it notes to robotic arms and everything in between! BIS clients will share their experience using assistive technology. Four to five brief presentations will follow, followed by an opportunity for audience questions. Let’s get together and learn from each other!

Join us for light mobility, stretching, exercise, meditation, and relaxation to increase our health and quality of life. Led by our very own yoga instructor, Paula Levin-Alcorn! Classes are appropriate for all levels.
This social/support group is for clients, loved ones, and caregivers. It focuses on building relationships, bonding with peers, learning from each other, and understanding brain injury survivors. It meets monthly on the last Tuesday.
Modeled after the concept in Copenhagen, Denmark, the Human Library creates a safe dialogue space where topics are openly discussed between our human “books” and their “readers.” All our human “books” are Speaker’s Bureau volunteers with personal brain injury experience sharing their stories.
