Thank you to all clients who submitted creations to the BIS Has Talent 2022 Art Exhibition! We more than DOUBLED the participation this year, with 24 separate client submissions!
Thank you to the ENTIRE BIS Community for rating the artists on our public platform and helping to spread the word about Art and Brain Injury Recovery. There were 100+ ratings submitted this year!

Category: Art
Open-ended and unstructured expression of creativity! Includes: painting, drawing, sketching, photography, digital art
Category: Craft
Involves skills and experience to create something with utility that is decorative, functional, or both! Includes: sculptures, woodworking, weaving, knitting, crochet, quilting, embroidery, jewelry, seasonal decor, glass-work, pottery, etc
Category: Composition
Arrangement of words, including: essays, short stories, lyrics, & poetry
Category: Culinary
Preparing, cooking and/or presentation of food items. May include photos of the process of or capture of the final product of a dinner, appetizer, snack or dessert item!

Please consider the following judging criteria as you submit your ratings for each artistic creation.
- CREATIVITY: uniqueness & originality – imaginative use of materials, ideas
- TECHNIQUE: good use of chosen materials, medium, and tools
- ELEMENTS OF ART: line, shape, texture, form, space, color, and value
- TOTAL PRESENTATION: appropriately finished, design, and fit within the chosen category
WINNERS OF THE ART EXHIBITION
One winner will be chosen for each of the four categories and winners will be announced at the Art Show & Exhibition on Wednesday, Nov. 2nd on zoom at 1:00PM. Winners will be awarded with brand new art supplies, provided by Michael’s Arts & Crafts store of Springfield.
Winners will be determined by popular vote on a public voting platform.
