Brain Injury Services Concussion Recovery Summit — bringing together stakeholders and thought leaders in Virginia’s government, education, workplace, research, tech, and health care sectors to discuss and develop concrete steps for leveraging participants’ and community leaders’ platforms, networks, and assets to drive awareness and actions to improve concussion recovery across Virginia.
Keynote Speaker:
Dr. Juliet Haarbauer-Krupa, a leading Health Scientist on the TBI Team, Division of Unintentional Injury, National Center for Injury Prevention and Control at the CDC. Her background is in child development, clinical rehabilitation, and rehabilitation research with experience in clinical program development, academic teaching, and longitudinal outcome studies. As noted above, the ultimate goal/end product is the sharing of valuable information gathered through this collaboration.
