Kitti Tong, BIS client and brain injury survivor, will share her journey with aphasia. Kitti will discuss her experience, recovery, and her strategies. She will also share tips for communicating with others with aphasia. There will be a Q&A for Kitti and Tamara towards the end of the presentation.

Ask Your Senators to Support Increased Funding for TBI Programs

Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) is leading a Dear Colleague letter in the Senate to support increased funding of the traumatic brain injury (TBI) programs at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Administration for Community Living. Click here to download the letter. 

This is the first Dear Colleague letter in the Senate in the history of the TBI programs. Please reach out to your senators and ask them to sign this letter by Wednesday, March 25 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
