DESCRIPTION:Donna Meltzer\, CEO of Brain Injury Services (BIS)\, in partnership with Dr. Philip DeFina\, cordially invites you to a special reception focused on learning\, collaboration\, and strengthening our community’s response to the needs of individuals with brain injury. \n\n\n\nAbout the Evening \n\n\n\nThis reception provides an opportunity to: \n\n\n\n\nLearn about Brain Injury Services’ growing programs and service needs from our CEO\, Donna Meltzer\n\n\n\nEngage with Dr. DeFina on emerging neuroscience innovations\n\n\n\nNetwork with others in the brain injury community and beyond\n\n\n\n\nLight hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. \n\n\n\nAbout Dr. DeFinaDr. Philip DeFina is a world-renowned cognitive neuroscientist advancing diagnostics and treatments for traumatic brain injury (TBI)\, stroke\, Parkinson’s disease\, Alzheimer’s disease\, autism\, neurotoxicity\, coma\, and other complex brain disorders. Known as the “mad scientist” for his groundbreaking work\, he serves as Chief Neuroscience Officer at the International Institute for Brain Enhancement (IIBE)\, Clinical & Research Director at Hyperbaric Services of the Palm Beaches\, and Founder/CEO of the International Brain Research Foundation. Dr. DeFina also serves on the Board of Trustees for Brain Injury Services. \n\n\n\nHis multidisciplinary teams utilize cutting-edge modalities—including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)\, QEEG-guided neurofeedback\, rTMS\, TDCS/TACS\, LIFUP\, tCES\, advanced neuroimaging\, and specialized nutraceutical and IV formulations—achieving outcomes far surpassing standard medical care.
