TED Talk Watch Party!
April 21, 2021 @ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Gather together virtually to watch a short video. ComPASS Manager Sarah Pickford will facilitate a discussion after the video completes.
Topic: How changing your story can change your life – Lori Gottlieb
Stories help you make sense of your life — but when these narratives are incomplete or misleading, they can keep you stuck instead of providing clarity. In an actionable talk, psychotherapist and advice columnist Lori Gottlieb shows how to break free from the stories you’ve been telling yourself by becoming your own editor and rewriting your narrative from a different point of view.
What is a TED Talk?
TED is dedicated to researching and sharing knowledge that matters through short talks and presentations (usually less than 18 minutes). Their goal is to inform and educate global audiences in an accessible way. Scientists, researchers, technologists, business leaders, artists, designers and other world experts take the TED stage to present “Ideas Worth Spreading”: valuable new knowledge and innovative research in their fields.
Based on current recommendations of the CDC and local health officials, groups hosted by Brain Injury Services will meet via Zoom. To receive a secure Zoom invitation, you must register to attend.
