Music therapy has been reported to help relieve pain, reduce anxiety, and can bring about physiological changes, including:
- Improved respiration
- Lower blood pressure
- Improved cardiac output
- Reduced heart rate
- Relaxed muscle tension
Participants do not have to have an instrument or any specific musical ability. Erin Bonham will provide information during the first session on how people can make their own instruments at home.
The group will be limited to 8 first-time participants. If you have participated in the past and are interested in doing so again, please e-mail Amanda Holsinger to be added to the wait-list.
