Brain Injury Services (BIS) family,
I’m sure many of you have been following the news about the coronavirus (COVD-19) and have been thinking about how it might affect BIS.
Brain Injury Services is following CDC guidelines in regards to the coronavirus and keeping our eyes on responses from each local jurisdiction and the Virginia Department of Health.
Please do the following:
- If you are feeling sick, please do not attend any BIS groups, BIS day programs, or events. Also, notify staff via phone to cancel any community visits.
- Try not to touch your face with uncleaned hands
- Regularly practice good hand hygiene (wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds) & sneeze etiquette (cough or sneeze into a tissue or in the crease of your elbow).
Come back to our website for any additional updates regarding our upcoming groups and events or in the event of a possible partial or full shutdown notice.
