  • BIS: COVD-19 Health-Related Update

    Dear BIS Family and Supporters,

Because of the recent developments over the possible community-spread of COVID-19 and the potential health risk to our clients, Brain Injury Services (BIS) has made the difficult decision to cancel all upcoming events, groups, and day programs effective immediately. By canceling groups and large gatherings, BIS is taking preemptive measures to mitigate risks to the populations we serve.

Unfortunately, this includes canceling our Annual Reception on March 18th and the Fredericksburg Ribbon Cutting on March 19th.  We are always excited to honor our clients, partners, and supporters, but our utmost priority is keeping our BIS community healthy and safe.

For clients who have individual meetings planned with BIS staff, we will be reaching out to you regarding alternate modes of meeting and communication.

For information about COVID-19 and how you can stay safe, please visit http://www.vdh.virginia.gov/coronavirus/ or https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html

For all other BIS questions or concerns, please contact our office at (703) 451-8881 or email your case manager. Please continue to check our website for updates.
