A Message Re Coronavirus (COVID-19): We’re Committed to our Clients, Employees and Community

BIS Family,

In light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and spread, Brain Injury Services wants to assure you that our top priority is the health and safety of our clients, employees, and our community.  We are closely monitoring all local, county, and state developments related to mitigating community spread to ensure that we are following the guidelines laid out by the CDC and local health officials. Therefore, based on current recommendations, we have cancelled all events, meetings, and group activities.  Please be assured that we will resume these activities  as soon as it is advisable to do so.

Effective March 18th, 2020 through April 1st, 2020, BIS staff are also taking protective measures and are practicing social distancing requirements by working with clients remotely over the telephone and computer. If you are a client or caregiver, your case manager will be reaching out to assess needs and discuss available community supports.

We will navigate through this pandemic together! If you need resources, community support, or just want to talk to your case manager, please free to reach out via phone or email. Remember, our main number is 703-451-8881 and is answered during regular business hours.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We will continue to update the website with any new information regarding Brain Injury Services.

Please stay safe. If you are feeling ill or are having a mental health crisis, please call 911.

Sincerely,

Brain Injury Services
