The 42nd Brain Injury Rehabilitation Conference is pleased to announce three different presentation opportunities – breakout presentations, oral presentations, and poster presentations. The multiple presentation formats provide an extensive discussion forum for researchers and practitioners in the field of rehabilitation. Preferred topics of interest include innovative rehabilitation techniques and interventions, innovative clinical programs, and clinical research studies. The peer review process will give preference to presentations that include or are based upon empirical information. Applicants may submit multiple presentations for consideration. All presenters must register for the conference.

The deadline for presentation submission was December 29th, 2017. Applicants will be notified by email of their application status by January 12th, 2017. Accepted applicants will receive a follow-up email detailing additional steps for registration and presentation.
The call for Oral Presentations for 2018 is CLOSED.
Oral presentations offer an excellent opportunity for a targeted discussion innovative research studies and clinical programs, as well as other practical rehabilitation topics. Presenters will be scheduled for 30 minutes, including 5 minutes for questions and answers. The title and primary author only of accepted presentations will be publicized on the web site and printed in the final conference program. Selected primary author invited to present will be granted a $25 discount on the two-day conference registration fee. Oral presentations will occur on Friday, May 4th, 2018.
The call for Poster Presentations for 2018 is CLOSED.
The Williamsburg Planning Committee is pleased to announce the continuation of poster sessions in 2018. The poster presentation is an excellent opportunity for fellows and students to display their work and to network with other rehabilitation professionals.
The poster session will take place during the Thursday evening social and cocktail event from 5:00-6:30pm, Thursday May 3rd, 2018. One presenter should be present to discuss their poster during this time. The title and primary author only of accepted posters will be publicized on the web site and printed in the final conference program. Maximum poster size is 36”x48” and two posters will be presented on each board 4’x8’ board.
